AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME
Over the past 20 years, I have spoken at hundreds of schools across the UK, Germany and in the USA, reaching over 50,000 students. For many of those years, I delivered the presentation alongside my mother, Lady Zahava Kohn. Since her passing, I have continued sharing her story on my own.
Each session typically lasts 60 minutes but can be adjusted to meet the school's requirements. Audience sizes range from 30 to 300 pupils.
There is no charge for the presentation.
During the presentation, I share original photographs, artefacts, letters, and documents, all preserved by my grandmother and mother. I also incorporate short video clips of Zahava recounting her wartime experiences.
The presentation concludes with a flexible Q&A session, allowing students to ask about any aspect of the story. Questions often cover life before, during, and after the war.
TIMETABLING
Most sessions take place during school hours, either during lessons, extended assemblies, or as an extracurricular activity after school. Some schools also invite parents to attend at an after-school session.
AGE GROUPS
The presentations are particularly relevant to secondary-school students aged 11–18. They have been highly acclaimed by every type of school, with most institutions requesting return visits for new year groups.I n addition to speaking at schools, I present at conferences, universities, community events, and other educational gatherings, reaching audiences beyond the classroom.
