First Aid Kit

Provenance uncertain, but probably given to the Kanarek family in Biberach in spring 1945. The kit remains unused.

By spring 1945, the Kanarek family had survived years of deprivation and were seriously unwell. Containing only basic first aid supplies, the kit was of limited practical use in treating the consequences of starvation, infection and disease.
