Sent to Zahava’s grandparents in Zurich, this photograph bears the handwritten dedication in German on the back of the photograph: ‘For the dear grandparents, from Zahava, aged 14 months.’

Taken on Rosy’s 31st birthday, the photograph carries an added poignancy in retrospect.
